Toshiba Announces New Satellite E200 delivering Intel's latest Core™ Processor and Avant Garde Design.
SINGAPORE, 8 January 2010 - Toshiba's Computer Systems Division (CSD), a division of Toshiba Singapore Pte Ltd, today unveiled the Toshiba Satellite E200, a new Notebook PC that features an avant garde design, great performance and a seamless user experience.
Dressed in an alluring Sapphire Blue mirror-finish casing, the Satellite E200 cuts a striking silhouette with its unique design. A slot-loading DVD SuperMulti DL drive is seamlessly integrated into the side of the Notebook PC. With a unique canti-hinge, its LCD screen gives an illusion that it is floating above the keyboard.

Its illuminated keyboard makes it easy to work in dim environments while feather touch illuminated control buttons offer instant access to the commonly used controls.
An intuitive Multi TouchPad with Gesture Support enables greater flexibility to browse and control what's happening on-screen with gesture-commands, such as two-finger pinch, swipe, rotate and scroll. For quick and convenient login, the Satellite E200 comes with SmartFace™ Face Recognition software, while Toshiba ConfigFree™ utility facilitates wireless network configuration and online access via the embedded WLAN interface or via Bluetooth.
To ensure high reliability and durability, the Satellite E200 features integrated hard drive protection. An embedded 3D motion sensor safeguards the data stored in the hard disk drive in case of drops or shocks by instantly removing the HDD heads from between the disks.
