I was able to review the Aluminum Desktop Stand from Lapworks Inc. and found that no matter what sized laptop I used it with there were no problems.
It's easy to adjust the height levels so you can work comfortably either using the laptop keyboard or an external keyboard and mouse. I was able to use the Aluminum Desktop Stand with my 13.3" MacBook and a 17" desktop replacement laptop. It handled both well and I was able to adjust the Aluminum Desktop Stand to a comfortable height for each.
The 6 different height levels are 3.5, 4 or 4.35 inches and the steeper levels are 6, 6.5 and 6.34 inches.
You may think that a brushed aluminum finish would not be the best surface to use a laptop on an incline but LapWorks has that covered. They include four rounded rubber feet which are placed on the stand itself to prevent your laptop from slipping.
